Kythorlin

As a Rider of Elturel, Kythorlin took part in the ill-fated expedition that would see the Riders elevated from the Sword Coast’s premier cavalry into legends. To stop a devil incursion, the Riders of Elturel rode into Avernus, and thus the Hell Riders were born. Only the Riders would be betrayed by their angelic leader, Zariel. The brutal fighting left few survivors. The last of his battalion, Kythorlin was taken prisoner and imprisoned for two centuries. Granted freedom in exchange for his soul, Kythorlin walked out of Hell in the service of Asmodeus an Illrigger. With the goal of acquiring one hundred thousand gold to buy back his soul. Kythorlin joins on with Bregan D’aerthe for the time being but when stranded in Prismeer, and after rescuing Tasha, the Witch surprisingly pays off Kythorlin’s debt. Lacking purpose, Kythorlin celebrates with several months of debauchery until called up by Jarlaxle Baenre for a job in the Elsir Vale. With war at the valley’s door, Kythorlin chooses to make a stand against the Red Hand. With military experience and an unflinching pragmatism, will Kythorlin rise to lead the defense of the Elsir Vale. One Wyrmlord, another Illrigger, has fallen by Kythorlin’s blade but there are still more and the dragons allied with them.
